Putting people first in web design for Mitchells & Butlers
Embark on a collaborative journey with a long-standing client to create a brand-new website. It must have a modern style and tone, draw attention to their culture – known as their People Promise – and bring in more quality job applicants via a simplified user journey.
We began with site performance research, creating a SWOT analysis of the website as it was, along with analytics to inform our thoughts so far.
From there, we began building the foundations of the new website in an interactive workshop with key stakeholders in the business. With these minds in the room, we confirmed the brand’s priority objectives, audiences, and desired design and tone of voice.
With this information, we were able to launch into the full re-design of their website style and tone of voice, always keeping in mind the journey of those key audiences.
We worked with Brew to revamp the design and UX of Mitchells & Butlers’ Careers website. We knew we needed a dramatic shift from our previous website to really stand out in the market by showcasing our company’s Employee Value Propositions, whilst providing a simple user experience for our priority audiences.
